About Me
Hi, I'm Lisa Miller, a Licensed Master Social Worker on a mission to bring positive vibes and well-being into your life. My journey in the mental health realm has been quite the adventure, filled with all sorts of experiences that have taught me the power of empathy and lending a caring hand when things get tough. I have dedicated my career to helping individuals on their path to recovery and personal growth. This has really solidified my grasp on the ins and outs of mental health and shown me just how crucial it is to tailor my approach to fit your unique needs.
My Experience
I am a Licensed Master Social Worker with a strong passion for helping those in need. I earned my undergraduate degree in Therapeutic Recreation from Lehman College and went on to complete my graduate studies at Fordham University School of Social Work. During my training, I gained valuable experience through an internship working with hospice clients and at a magnet school in Bridgeport, supporting 7th and 8th grade students. For the past 16 years, I have served as a Rehabilitation Therapist, where I have dedicated my career to providing compassionate care and support to individuals facing various challenges. My background in both therapeutic recreation and social work allows me to approach my work holistically, focusing on the overall well-being of those I serve.
